Two international events are set to converge seamlessly this March to provide you with the biggest Korean festival of poker to date:

• WPT National Korea returns to Maison Glad Hotel Jeju from March 16 – 21, 2017;
• Coming to the same location in Jeju for the first time is APT Korea 2017, which starts on March 22 until March 28, 2017.

Jeju has been a favorite poker location for Chinese players for a while now, with all of the past WPT Korea Main Event champions having come from Mainland China:

• Cui Jiabin was crowned the Main Event champion of WPT National Korea 2015, held in December 2015;
• Yiguang Xu was crowned the Main Event champion of WPT National Korea 2016, held in May 2016;
• And, Cheng Junhui emerged as the Main Event champion in the latest WPT National Korea, which has held in October 2016.

It is also with great pleasure that we announce the coming of APT Korea to the beautiful island of Jeju, the first-ever to be held there. Players can expect to have twice the fun, twice the action, and twice the prizepool.

Entering South Korea amid Rumors

To address the rumors that South Korea will deny Mainland China visas to visitors, the Korean government has issued the following address:

As participants who have already entered Jeju for one of our tournaments would know, the island of Jeju is a visa-free city, so these rumors will not hinder your need for quality poker entertainment. To be safe though, we have prepared all the clearance requirements you may need beforehand in order not to have a problem upon entering Jeju. The clearance requirements are as follows:

• Ensure that your passport has a validity period of more than six months.
• Have your flight and hotel itinerary ready in either electronic or paper format for customs inspections.
• The attendants during your flight would be handing out three cards to non-Korean passengers: the entry card, customs declaration, and health card. Make sure to fill in the required information in detail (Chinese version available) and clearly in black or blue pen.
• Give the health card to the customs officer manning the immigration arrivals desk upon your arrival.
