The Asian Poker Tour (APT) is delighted to announce its return to Asia’s gaming hub – Macau along with its first cruise event in Asia!
APT Macau 2016
After a three-year hiatus, the APT returns to the gambling mecca of Asia for the APT Macau 2016. In partnership with the Poker King Club and SJM, this week-long event runs from Wednesday, October 19th to Tuesday, October 25th (Subject to Regulatory Approval) at the Crystal Palace of the Casino Lisboa. The schedule will feature a HKD 22,000 Main Event and thirteen fun-filled side events.
Action kicks off with the HKD 2,200 Poker King Cup HKD 300,000 Guaranteed. This two-day event will hold both of its qualifying flights on opening day. The ensuing days will also see other enjoyable events on the poker floor such as the Head Hunter, Monster Stack, and several No Limit Hold’em events and Deep Stack Turbo events. Buy-ins range from HKD 1,100 – HKD 5,500.
For those looking to up the ante, the High Rollers event will take place on Thursday, October 20th. This is a two-day event with a buy in of HKD 55,000.
The centerpiece is the HKD 22,000 entry fee Main Event which is slated to electrify the floor on the weekend with two qualifying days, Day 1A running on Friday, October 21st at 5pm, and Day 1B on Saturday, October 22nd at 1pm. Day 2 and Day 3 will run on the next two days, and the Final 8 will be played on the last day of the festival, Tuesday, October 25th. For more info, check out the APT Macau 2016 tournament page.
APT Poker Cruise 2016
Towards the end of September, the APT sets sail for the APT Poker Cruise 2016. In partnership with Poker King Club, this four-day offshore event runs from Friday, September 29th- Monday, October 2nd at the Arc de Triomphe VIP Room on board the Rex Fortune Cruise.
The highlight of the festivities is the HKD 11,000 Main Event with Day 1A starting on opening night while Day 1B is scheduled the following night, Day 2 on the third night, and then another APT Main Event champion will be crowned on the last day onboard the ship. In addition, there will be a Mega Satellite and three side events on the itinerary: two Hyper Deep Stack Turbo events and the crowd favorite Monster Stack. The Rex Fortune Cruise offers many activities to keep guests fully entertained. The ship has a karaoke room, bar, sauna & massage, a fitness center, and a playroom for children. Guests must take a ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to board the ship. From there, the ship will voyage 12 nautical miles out into international waters. Booking accommodations aboard the Rex Fortune Cruise is now available.
The APT Poker Cruise 2016 comes just one week after the conclusion of the upcoming APT Philippines III 2016 in Resorts World Manila.
